John has over 45 years of executive management and consulting experience. He has served clients on every continent across the globe. His area of expertise is IT consulting, focused on leveraging technology to improve productivity and reduce costs. During the past 12 years as Managing Director, his efforts have been primarily focused on healthcare, during which time he has lead over 100 engagements, producing savings in excess of $500 million. In 2001, John co-founded Optisave, a leading healthcare technology optimization consulting firm. Prior to Optisave, John held senior management positions in a diversified group of technology organizations including iBasis, Wildfire Communications, Centigram, United Technologies, General Dynamics and Automatic Electric. John has a Bachelor of Arts, Business and Economics, Hope College and an AEA Stanford Executive Institute, Stanford University and is the holder of two US Patents.

Evan has over 25 years of IT leadership and consulting experience working with some of the world leading clinical application, telecom and technology providers. As a past Director at Huron Consulting Group, and currently, as Managing Director, Optisave, LLC, he has worked on over 100+ healthcare IT engagements in faith-based, academic, children’s, and public health organizations. In 2001, Evan co-founded Optisave, a leading healthcare technology optimization consulting firm. His unique set of skills and technical engineering expertise offer clients the capability to create, design and implement more sustainable, efficient, and cost effective, strategic IT sourcing solutions. Evan has a BBA and an MBA from The George Washington University, and is a Member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
REPRESENTATIVE ENGAGEMENTS AND EXPERTISE INCLUDE:
• At a 70+ location faith-based system, led the clinical EMR sourcing including licensing, maintenance, equipment, and professional services. The solution reduced capital ongoing operational expenses by $55M.
• Developed a data center outsourcing solution for a Midwest faith-based healthcare chain that resulted in reducing ongoing operational expenses by $7M annually and increased EMR uptime performance.
• Designed the technical solution and negotiated the master services agreement to upgrade a top 10 bank’s voice and data infrastructure for over 2,500 locations. The ongoing savings was in excess of $25M annually.

Lisa has over 20 years of marketing communications experience, including product marketing and management, editorial and writing communications, pricing, market research and analysis, event management and fundraising. In the past, she has held product management and consulting positions at MCI Telecommunications, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, and Booz Allen. As Marketing Director for Optisave, LLC she oversees marketing operations and online presence. She has a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Marketing from The Wharton School, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Kim Kordecki shares over two-decades of experience and expertise, in project management, with technology customers and partners. Working with Fortune 500 companies she has consistently delivered seamless project support, technology solutions and positive outcomes for her clients. Kim’s strength in data collection, contract management and analysis methodologies, also provides opportunities for improved cost control and operational efficiency. Jerry Sanscrainte’s experience in IT, technology consultation and contract negotiations provide Optisave customers with a clear advantage for improved operational and cost efficiency. Jerry has worked for Fortune 500, Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies in financial, manufacturing and healthcare industries. His expertise in optimizing software, hardware, and disaster recovery services has saved his clients millions of dollars by engaging new technologies and strategic vendor relationships. Jerry has a Computer Science degree from Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn, Michigan, and has developed curriculum and instructed undergraduate courses in computer technology at Lourdes College, Toledo, Ohio.

Jason has over 30 years of international expertise and experience in the sourcing and management of telecom, computer hardware and Enterprise software technologies. He has provided Optisave’s clients with outstanding opportunities to create winning, strategies for cost containment and operational efficiencies for their businesses. As a member of the Optisave team since 2003, Jason has lead a wide range healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing customers to higher levels of performance and improved cost efficiency across their operations. Jason attended the University of Baltimore and the Kellogg Executive MBA Program at Northwestern University.

Javier is a quantitative business professional with nearly 15 years of experience in supply chain optimization and strategic management. As a consultant, he has worked with a broad array of clients across healthcare, legal, educational, manufacturing, logistics, and public sectors to identify and implement millions of dollars in sustainable value improvement. As a practitioner, he has helped build and lead procurement, logistics, and supply chain strategy functions for two large, multi-national manufacturing organizations, each with annual spend of $500M+. Javier earned a BBA in Finance and International Management from the University of New Mexico and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Chicago.

Jud Cairns is a Subject Matter Expert. Jud has more than 30 years of operational and leadership experience in technology companies and with consulting firms. As a consultant, Jud has worked with healthcare and technology providers to improve operations and reduce costs. As a practitioner, Jud has created, scaled, and led global services, support, and operations teams for a variety of technology providers, including Nuance, Metavante (now FIS), and Legent (now Computer Associates), and he has significant merger and acquisitions experience. Jud has a BS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.
Kathy Nason is a Project Manager and Data Analyst. Kathy has 15 years of experience in the IT Consulting space and most recently specializes in project planning and executive update reporting for client initiatives. Her areas of expertise also include data collection, telecommunications benchmarking and data analysis, and TEMS implementations. Her ability to shepherd clients through complex initiatives and system implementations, along with her attention to detail and skill in tracking items to resolution are instrumental in bringing projects to a successful completion. Kathy holds a BS in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University.

Scott Nason has been working in the telecommunications industry for 27 years. For the past 17 years, he has worked as a consultant to large Healthcare providers. Prior to that he spent 10 years with a global Fortune 100 company heading North American telecommunications contract negotiations. His areas of expertise include leading expense management and cost reduction initiatives, contract negotiations, RFP’s, and TEMS implementations. He approaches contract negotiations from both the client and carrier side and uses this ability to successfully negotiate large contracts while guiding clients through complex system implementations. Scott has worked with some of the largest and most complex healthcare providers in the US, creating a balance of cost savings and sustainable process improvement that comes from a deep understanding of the healthcare space.

Phoebe is a consultant and project manager with a decade of experience in operations and supply chain optimization. As a consultant within the healthcare industry, she has led both implementation and strategy-oriented projects with a focus on contract negotiations, strategic cost reduction initiatives, RFPs, financial analysis, and day-to-day project management, with significant experience working at nationwide consulting firms. Phoebe also consults nonprofit organizations and early stage start-ups in emerging markets, e.g. East Africa and LATAM. She previously held a leadership role in IT recruiting at Google. Phoebe received her Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

When the nation’s second and third largest home health care companies merged their combined 700 locations and 30,000 employees, they called on Optisave to guide the way. Working with company leadership, Optisave helped the new entity to realize a projected $5M in savings.
Working closely with the IT team of a renowned academic medical center, Optisave provided best practices expertise across many areas to reveal significant savings.
Partnering with a not-for-profit hospital system, Optisave facilitated a smooth transition to new EMR system, by ensuring efficient retirement and archiving of data from legacy systems.
After substantial acquisitions, the bank had outgrown its telecommunications network, was neither efficiently using IBM technologies nor maximizing Microsoft licensing agreements. Via three separate engagements, Optisave partnered with the bank’s IT leadership to significantly impact their bottom line.
